Design System

My client was in need of various email designs, each with it own strategic purpose, to be programmatically sent to users. Using their existing website as my starting point, I assembled a brand guide (i.e. logos, colors, typography) that informed my initial email samples. As soon as I received client sign off on the design direction, I quickly built out a design system in Figma with all the necessary components (logos, buttons, header/body styles, and image types).
This allowed me to build several email types in a templatized fashion. As could be expected, there were some last minute requests for changes to the templates, but knowing any change to a component would apply universally it made an otherwise laborious effort seamless.

Orchestrated custom qualitative research for an interactive, AI-powered episode of Netflix’s hit series “13 Reasons Why" identifying and presenting fundamental UX barriers to optimize the conversational voice-activated interface, simplify the scripted multi-path narrative, and ensure seamless onboarding to the experience. Proudly this work was instrumental in adoption by users in 17 countries and 8 different languages, and was nominated for an Outstanding Creative Achievement Emmy in Interactive Media.

For Me

Illustrations

The following series was inspired by my most recent trip to Palm Springs, CA, influenced by the modern residences of Richard Neutra, the timeless mailboxes that line the streets, and the 1950's tiki craze that found a home in this desert oasis. All were created in Figma.
